Camino: Sarria to Santiago Tour Reviews

"Walking the Camino in a self guided trip with UTracks was awesome. We set our own pace knowing how far we had to walk each day. Our luggage always arrived before we did. Accommodation was great. Food was delicious and so was the wine. No shortage with wine! Overall a great trip. Met lots of wonderful people along the way who shared their knowledge of walking and taking care of the body. I would not hesitate to recommend UTracks if you want a self guided and supported walk along the Camino."

B. Gilbert | Bentleigh, VIC

"It was the trip of a lifetime. The people all along the way couldn't have been nicer. The selection of places to stay, the efficiency of delivery of supplies-- maps, pilgrim passports, tour guide books, etc-- was perfect. Can't say enough good things about them. Will definitely use them again, next time. The best."

Best of the Camino Tour Reviews

"Overall, we enjoyed everything about our Best of the Camino trip. This was the first "active" walking trip we had done and our impression is that we would like to do more of these types of trips in the future. Team leader (Rita) and bus driver (Beni) were both wonderful throughout the trip - very patient and kind and worked through any issues that arose. Very organized. The pace of itinerary was good. Flexibility on length of walks accommodated participants who wanted to walk different lengths. We enjoyed the longer walking days and felt this is why we signed up for this type of tour..to be challenged and feel like we were doing long walks each day. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in an active walking vacation. We met some wonderful people from our tour group and enjoyed spending time with them."

L. Steinbrecher | CA, USA

"Friends of mine recommended UTracks to me and I was so glad they did. The group met up at a bar in Bilbao, and then boarded our bus around the corner. We travelled on a comfortable bus with a lovely guide, Rita, and driver, Beni. I was glad to find out that I wasn't the only solo traveller. The trip was called the Best of the Camino and it really was. We got to see the starting point and several points in between. I had not visited that part of Spain before and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was so glad I was on an organised trip as I had tendenitis in my heel on day 5 and was rescued by Beni. Rita was very good about letting people have options for the day. Thank you for a lovely trip. I'll definitely do another trip with UTracks in the future."

Full Spanish Camino Tour Review

"I spent 42 days on the Camino from St Jean-Pied-de-Port to Cape Fisterra using UTracks I completed the Camino as a solo Pilgrim and the experience was amazing and will live with me for many years. It had many rewards and challenges each balancing each other out. In our busy lives and fast paced environment around us walking the Camino has a different pace and language, that helps us to have a purpose in doing something very simple, walking! Grab a back pack and find your ‘way’ along ‘the way’."

S. Lilleyman | Kalamunda, Western Australia

"Our 40 day Camino went off without a hitch, when we spoke daily with other Pilgrims we realised how well UTracks was looking after us. We had such a great experience we are already thinking about doing another."

Camino Sarria to Santiago Rambler Tour Reviews

"I found that UTracks quality of service was very much higher than I expected for a walking holiday. The level of accommodation was far beyond my expectations & food provided was excellent at all hotels where I found service & bag transfers were always spot on making my Rambler self guided walk pleasant and rewarding. I enjoyed every day, no worries all the way, just pure enjoyment. Thank you UTracks, I am already looking to do another holiday next year with you as I experienced such a beautiful time."

M. Joines | Christchurch, New Zealand

"Well done UTracks. Big thank you to Allie and the Team in Sydney. Travel arrangements, transfers, accommodation and meals were so well organised. Our hosts at each destination were so welcoming and the accommodation and meals provided were excellent. The itinerary was so fine tuned. It was so reassuring knowing that everything was taken care of and we could relax and enjoy each day of the Pilgrimage."

Pilgrim walking into St Peters in Rome at the end of the Via Francigena | Tim Charody

Via Francigena: Orvieto to Rome Tour Reviews

"Walking the Via Francegena is more than a journey, it's a long reflective ramble through the quiet Italian countryside. On the Orvieto to Rome stage, I walked alone (self-guided) and saw maybe a dozen other walkers, and a few groups of mountain bikers. So it's very quiet and if you are a spiritual or reflective person, I recommend this trip. I passed through sublime peaceful woodlands and forests, skirted fields and olive groves, and each night stayed in traditional old Italian towns. Hardly a tourist to be seen, what bliss! Along the way, I saw numerous old hurches and some Roman roads and buildings. Also, there were information boards about the Via Francegena and the important role it played throughout the centuries socially and economically. The trail is quiet well marked, and UTracks' notes and phone ap are excellent. UTracks accommodation was really good and most nights I stayed in an atmospheric hotel or Agritourismo in great locations. I had two full days of rain but this trip is so interesting it wasn't a problem. If you want to see the real Italy away from the tourist hordes, and walk through delightful vistas all day, this is the trip for you. UTracks makes it very easy, this was my fourth walking trip with them."

B. Wilson | Wingham, NSW

"An amazing experience and a great taste of Italy - its friendly people, the beautiful buildings, the food, peaceful countryside, especially the hazelnut groves. We met some fascinating people on the way and enjoyed visiting the Colosseum and Vatican City once we arrived in Rome. A holiday we'll never forget."

Way of St James: Le Puy to Aumont Tour Reviews

"Great walk (despite the wear & tear on my knees with all the ups & downs!) with excellent accommodation and delicious food (one minor issue with a restaurant booking was resolved very efficiently by UTracks Auckland - thanks!). Especially liked the gites which facilitated meeting other pilgrims and walkers along the way."

P. Thomas | Auckland, New Zealand

"Le Puy to St Chely was a memorable walk organised by UTracks. The accommodation was a mix of hotels & farm stays, all were fresh & clean, with friendly welcoming staff or hosts. Meals were amazing 3-4 courses each night & buffet breakfasts most mornings. The scenery is just amazing, spring flowers were everywhere. The tracks were well signposted & in pretty good state, especially considering our walk commenced after a lot of rain of which we were very lucky to have missed."

"I needed to organize a b-spoke trip of the Camino de Santiago since I wanted to use my own bike for the trip. Fortunately, I came across the services of UTracks. They listened to my special needs and designed a 2 week trip for me that was perfect ! The hotels and B&B’s were very comforting, well located and were always ready to secure my bike and offer help for any special requests. Riding the Camino is magical ! Thanks UTracks for helping make this a wonderful experience!"
