Portuguese Road: Porto to Santiago Tour Reviews

"An amazing experience of walking the Camino. Having our luggage transported and accommodation prebooked was so good as all we had to do was get up and walk."

The Portuguese Road: Porto to Tui Tour Reviews

"Did self-guided walk in Jan/Feb and liked the uncrowded paths and friendly hospitality at the hotels who were pleased to have guests. Very easy to navigate as entire walk is marked with yellow arrows. The cooler weather was great for walking but also mean raingear was essential and well used. We condensed to 5 days, which meant one 34km day and no stay in Balugaes - we would recommend to others. A rest day in Ponte de Lima would probably be a good option if you do this. Best option for return from Tui to Porto is a taxi to Valenca and then local train at 8.30am which is only two stops and you can easily buy tickets on the day at this time of year. Overall very impressed with UTracks organisation once again and would do more such walks."

S. Coley | East Perth, Western Australia

"Having walked the Camino a few years ago I was wondering how this would compare. There is no comparison, that would not be fair to this trail. It's quite a different experience indeed, and much quieter. The Portuguese people and culture bring this trail to life and given my interest in this topic I was pleased I chose a self guided holiday so that I could satisfy my interests without feeling guilty about holding up a group. Everything was well organised and I certainly would recommend this trip to anyone. Thank you."

Portuguese Road: Tui to Santiago Tour Reviews

"The Portuguese Camino, beginning in Porto, was a delightful experience. I would highly recommend it. Walking pas the vineyards during the harvest, seeing the grapes being collected and talking to some of the workers were all unexpected bonuses."
