Vehicle free cycling trails are common in Europe. On many self guided cycling tours bike trailers can be arranged for children as young as two years to a maximum of 40-60kgs (depending on specifications). Trail-a-bikes are available for 4-9 year olds.
France is a great cycling destination for families with trips in regions like Provence and the Loire Valley providing numerous castles for kids to explore. For parents who are comfortable with active holidays there are trips to suit families with children as young as two. If you’re just testing the waters, our centre based rides require you to unpack only once.
Discounts are usually available for children under 12 years when sharing a room with two adults, please enquire with your nearest UTracks office for exact pricing and details.
