A self-guided active holiday is ideal for independent travellers who love the freedom of exploring at their own pace but with all the logistics sorted. We have centre-based walking and cycling itineraries which are great for families, bike and boat itineraries for first-timers and alpine treks for the more adventurous (of course, trips in mountainous terrain require previous outdoor experience and basic contour map reading and orientation skills).

Whether it's a relaxing cycle along the Danube or hiking across Corsica, we'll provide you with detailed maps, directions and seven day local support in addition to handling all the necessary support and planning, from booking accommodation and transferring your luggage each day to supplying rental bikes and providing local insights. 

Best of all, many of our self-guided tours depart daily, giving you greater flexibility when planning your European holiday.

Depending on the chosen trip, group sizes generally vary from 6 to 22 people. Groups on boat-based trips are often slightly larger.
