Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 5km / 3mi away from the boarding harbour of Trogir. Taxi transfer can be booked on request for an additional cost from Split airport or hotel to the boat in Trogir. After check-in on the motor yacht from 2:00pm, the first small cruise begins at about 3:00pm from Trogir to Rogoznica. Relax on board and take in the stunning scenery as we cross to Rogoznica where we spend our first night - a village on a small island which is connected to the mainland by a dam. Later in the afternoon there is time to adjust the bicycles.

Meals:  D

In the morning we cycle from Rogoznica to Primošten. From here the boat takes us to Šibenik at the mouth of the river Krka that flows into the Adriatic Sea. After visiting the old town and the famous Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO World Heritage site known as the most beautiful religious building of the Adriatic Coast, we set off again. On the cruise we pass the lower course of the river Krka following the river bend until we reach Skradin. We spend our night in the port of the village.

Meals:  B,L,D

The magnificent port of Skradin is today’s starting point for our excursion by boat and on foot to the most famous part of the Krka National Park with its unique waterfalls. In the early afternoon our boat takes us to the harbor of Vodice, a well-known holiday town on the Dalmatian mainland. From here we mount the bicycles again for a round trip.

Meals:  B,L

Cycling from Vodice to the island of Murter, we cross the bridge at Tisno and cycle along the water front, passing by two very old coastal villages until we reach a small landing place. The boat takes us on a cruise through the National Park Kornati - an archipelago in crystal clear water which is known for its rich underwater world. Our destination is the deeply incised Telašcica Bay. In the local nature park is the Mir salt lake. At the end of the day we take a short hike to the impressive cliffs. Overnight stay on the Island of Dugi Otok.

Meals:  B,L,D

After breakfast and a short crossing to Sali, we cycle across the almost traffic-free island of Dugi Otok. During the ride we are treated to unforgettable vistas of the islands in the deep blue sea. Afterwards we meet our boat for a cruise to Zadar, the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia for centuries. We take an extensive walk through the streets of the lively old town. 3,000 years of history left its imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to be admired - the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, the loggia and also the Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica. Overnight Zadar.

Meals:  B,L

During breakfast the boat crosses to the island of Ugljan at the channel of Zadar. Today we have ample time to explore the islands of Ugljan and Pasman by bike. Recently the two islands have been connected by a bridge. Along the east coast we experience the beautiful views of the ocean and mainland opposite. The boat picks us up and takes us to the coral island of Zlarin for overnight.

Meals:  B,L,D

In the morning our boat takes us to the island of Solta. Olive and fig trees and farmland surround the streets. The spicy smell of lavender and rosemary will follow us throughout the whole tour around the silent island until we reach the village Grohete. In the afternoon our last cruise takes us back to Trogir, where we have enough time for a stroll through the World Heritage old town of Trogir. In the evening we enjoy a celebration dinner with the crew and tour guides.

Meals:  B,L,D

Disembark after breakfast around 9am and individual departure, or taxi transfer can be booked on request for an additional cost from the boat to Split airport or hotel.

Grading

introductory to moderate

TRIP GRADING - INTRODUCTORY TO MODERATE (2) The trip requires a basic level of fitness from participants, which they should have acquired from steady cycling. The tours take you up to a height of between 100 and 300m / 328 to 985ft above sea-level. The daily tours from 15 to 35km/9.5 to 21.5mi lead you through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time-constraints. Participants will also need to master long and steep climbs, during which you may need to push the bike. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned bike-tour. We will traverse mostly asphalted roads, which are rarely travelled on outside the holiday seasons. Each day you can either decide to bike alone, using the information and maps provided, or join the tour guides. It is considered suitable for fit beginners and active children (minimum 10 years, height minimum is 1.2m/4ft for hybrid bike or 1.5m/5ft for e-bike). *For safety reasons, we insist that cycle helmets be included as a compulsory item on your equipment list.
