Electric bikes (or e-bikes) are designed to make cycling easier. Electric bikes are becoming very common in Europe and many of the cycling trips in our offering now have an electric bike option.
The pedalling ‘boost’ provided by an e-bike opens up more options, allowing people of different fitness levels to cycle together on their holiday or to allow less confident or fit cyclists to take on greater distances or routes that they may otherwise consider too tough for their current capability. In that way, an electric bike makes your tour appealing to everyone in your group.
Being battery powered, there is absolutely no motor noise, and a nightly top-up using just the power outlet at your hotel will have you fully charged for the next stage on your e-bike holiday.
An e-bike is the ideal way for newcomers to cycling trips to enjoy the benefits of a handlebar based holiday. With an e-bike, anyone can explore Europe their way.
