Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 5km / 3mi away from the boarding harbour of Trogir. Taxi transfer can be booked on request for an additional cost from Split airport or hotel to the boat in Trogir. After check-in on the motor yacht from 2:00pm, the first small cruise begins at about 3:00pm from Trogir to Rogoznica. Relax on board and take in the stunning scenery as we cross to Rogoznica where we spend our first night - a village on a small island which is connected to the mainland by a dam. Later in the afternoon there is time to adjust the bicycles.

Meals:  D

In the morning we enjoy our breakfast during a morning cruise to the seaside city of Vodice. From here we start our bike tour to the island of Murter, connected to the mainland by a lift bridge in the town of Tisno. We cycle over the bridge and along the waterfront, passing by two old coastal villages, until we reach a small jetty. From here, we enjoy a spectacular cruise through the Kornati National Park, an archipelago in crystal clear water, known for its rich aquatic life, until we reach the Telašcica Nature Park. In the evening, we take a walk through the park and along the island’s stunning cliffs. A salt lake and a family of donkey also characterise the nature park and make for a wonderful location to spend a quiet night.

Meals:  B,L

After breakfast we start our bike tour from the Telašcica Nature Park, along an almost traffic-free panoramic road across the island of Dugi Otok. During the ride we are treated to unforgettable vistas of the islands in the deep blue sea. We meet the ship in Savar and board for a crossing to the city of Zadar, which for centuries was the political, cultural, and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. Once we arrive, there is the opportunity to take part in a walking tour during which you will find out all about this fascinating city while strolling through the winding alleys and the lively old town, characterised by 3,000 years of history. The night is spent in Zadar.

Meals:  B,L

During breakfast the boat crosses to the island of Ugljan at the channel of Zadar. Today we have ample time to explore the islands of Ugljan and Pasman by bike. Recently the two islands have been connected by a bridge. Along the east coast we experience the beautiful views of the ocean and mainland opposite. After our bike tour, we sail back to the city of Primosten on the mainland. Here we can enjoy some time swimming and exploring the quaint sea-side village. The night is spent in Primosten.

Meals:  B,L

Today is a real highlight! Cycling along varied roads through remote villages in the Dalmatian inland to the magnificent port of Skradin located at the foot of the Krka Canyon. Board a small boat to the Krka National Park where after exploring this lush green wonderland, we return to Skradin to overnight.

Meals:  B,L

During breakfast the boat departs Skradin and makes its way down the Krka River back towards the sea and the city of Šibenik. Here we have time to explore the city, home to the Cathedral of St. Jacob, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the most beautiful sacral building on the Adriatic coast. Afterwards, we board the ship and navigate to Primošten where we undertake a bike tour in the afternoon to Rogoznica and back. The night is spent in Primošten.

Meals:  B,L

In the morning our boat takes us to the island of Solta. Olive and fig trees and farmland surround the streets. The spicy smell of lavender and rosemary will follow us throughout the whole tour around the silent island until we reach the village Grohete. In the afternoon our last cruise takes us back to Trogir, where we have enough time for a stroll through the World Heritage old town of Trogir. In the evening we enjoy a celebration dinner with the crew and tour guides.

Meals:  B,D

Disembark after breakfast around 9am and individual departure, or taxi transfer can be booked on request for an additional cost from the boat to Split airport or hotel.

Grading

introductory to moderate

GRADE 2 - The trip requires a basic level of fitness from participants, which they should have acquired from steady cycling. The tours take you up to a height of between 100 and 300m / 328 to 985ft above sea-level. The daily tours from 15 to 35km/9.5 to 21.5mi lead you through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time-constraints. Participants will also need to master long and steep climbs, during which you may need to push the bike. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned bike-tour. We will traverse mostly asphalted roads, which are rarely travelled on outside the holiday seasons. Each day you can either decide to bike alone, using the information and maps provided, or join the tour guides. It is considered suitable for fit beginners and active children (minimum 10 years, height minimum is 1.2m/4ft for hybrid bike or 1.5m/5ft for e-bike). *For safety reasons, we insist that cycle helmets be included as a compulsory item on your equipment list.
