As General Manager of UTracks, Kate has travelled extensively across Europe to help shape and refine our collection of walking and cycling adventures. From classic alpine routes to lesser-known regional trails, she has spent years exploring the continent to ensure the UTracks program remains at the forefront of active travel in Europe.
Her travels have taken her across a remarkable range of destinations, though France, Italy, Romania and Slovenia remain personal favourites thanks to their rich culture, spectacular landscapes and outstanding trail networks. Kate previously spent three years living in London establishing our UK office before returning to Sydney to lead the continued growth of the UTracks brand.
Kate’s own adventure résumé stretches well beyond Europe. She has trekked in the Himalaya, the Andes, Patagonia, Africa and throughout Europe, cycled through China, Vietnam, Laos and India, explored the historic Silk Road, and travelled to the polar regions on expedition cruises in both the Arctic and Antarctic.
With decades of experience in active travel, Kate believes the most rewarding way to experience a destination is at a human pace – walking village paths, cycling quiet country lanes and immersing yourself in local culture along the way. Her passion for meaningful, well-crafted journeys continues to guide the development of the UTracks program today.
