Fall in love with Slovenia’s Julian Alps and national parks; admire the traditional lifestyles of Bosnian villagers; see Orthodox churches in Serbia; or take a break from the trail and dive into the sparkling waters of Croatia’s Dalmatian coastline.
Head to Greece for cycling and sailing trips or perhaps uncover the mystery of Meteora by foot or bike; uncover the unspoilt lands of Albania; or explore the untapped wilderness of Kosovo.
Remember to reward yourself with the generous foods of the Balkans: slow-cooked meats, fresh seafood of the Adriatic coast, or the enticing flavours of Greek cuisine.
