Optional tour of Trebon chateau in the morning. The trail winds past many ponds and man-made lakes, typical of this region, to Perslak, the most northern point of Austria. You follow the border with Austria on the Greenways trail passing through Nova Bystrice. From Nova Bystrice the trail takes you through the forests of the National Park called Czech Canada. The day ends in Telc, a Renaissance town registered on the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List. Houses on the main square in Telc, with facades decorated with typically renaissance graffiti, form the best-preserved Renaissance square in the Czech Republic.
Day 4
Gentle cycle through South Moravia to Vranov (54km/33mi)

This flatland region is a traditional vine-growing area and there are many wine cellars. Check-in to your hotel in late afternoon, leisure time in the evening.
Day 7
Cycle into Austria and transfer to Vienna (45km/30mi)
You cross the border at the Mikulov border checkpoint and the rest of the day is spent in Austria. The ride in Austria is, to begin, very similar to the Czech section. There are vineyards, fields and small villages along the trail. Experienced bikers can reach the Vienna hotel by bike - the total distance varies according to the location of your hotel, ask your consultant for details. As standard, the cycling part of the tour finishes in Mistelbach (45km/27mi) or Poysdorf (25km/15.5mi). We will transfer you from the agreed town directly to your hotel in Vienna. Note: It should be agreed on in advance whether you want to cycle all the way to Vienna or where you will meet the driver who will take you to Vienna. Please also be aware the full cycling distance to Vienna on this day is over 100km, is not flat, and the arrival from the north is not particularly interesting.

What's included
What's not included
During the trip you will be provided with a 27 speed hybrid bike rental with panniers, handlebar bag, lock, helmet and one repair kit per room.
Optional upgrade available to premium hybrid bike with an aluminium frame - eg model Trek 7.5 - supplement applies. Equipped with a handlebar bag and lock, pannier, helmet (on request) and repair kit
An electric bike is available on request. eg: 4Ever Comfort Sport Trek (shown). Included: helmet, lock, pannier, repair kit
A supplement applies, see below. Electric bikes, or e-bikes, are designed to make cycling easier. The pedaling ‘boost’ provided by an e-bike opens up more options, allowing people of different fitness levels to cycle together or for cyclists to take on routes they may otherwise consider too tough for their current fitness capabilities. Please note that e-bikes are heavier than normal bikes and given the higher speed possible, should only be ridden by confident cyclists.
GRADE 3 - The cycling distances range from 25 to 96km (15.5 to 59.5mi) over undulating terrain with some steep hills - you may need to walk your bike uphill for short sections. The rides follow mostly well surfaced tarmac lanes and secondary roads with little traffic however there are parts of the ride on dirt tracks with a few soft sand areas where caution is required. Inevitably, near the larger towns there is more traffic. It is considered suitable for cyclists with a good level of fitness, able to tackle some hills. E-bikes are available should you be concerned about your fitness. We recommend that you familiarise yourself with road cycling in light traffic in order to participate comfortably. *For safety reasons, we insist that cycle helmets are worn whilst cycling.
