Camino de Santiago: Slow TV

Want to watch every step of the Camino Frances from your home?

Slow television is a curious cultural phenomenon - it's having epic television coverage of a naturally slow-paced activity, like watching a 10 hour train journey to the Norwegian Arctic Circle or a 7 hour cruise of London's canals. Yes, not dissimilar to watching grass grow (in fact, there's a slow TV movie of that here!).
While it's not exactly edge of your seat entertainment, it is quite nice to have on in the background and you can watch the changing landscape. Slow TV is the ultimate in armchair travelling!
For Camino lovers, yes, someone has taken the trouble of filming the entire Camino Frances pilgrimage with a camera. That means you can now watch every single step of the Camino de Santiago; from St Jean Pied de Port in France, all the way to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. They even decided to walk the extension to Finisterre.
Of course, if you would rather watch edited versions of the Camino de Santiago, the French Way of St James, or the Via Francigena in Italy, please click here to view our (much, much) shorter videos.
Even better, check out our comprehensive range of affordable self guided or small group tours along the Camino and walk it in real life!
