10. Best of the Camino Guided Walk | Spain
Experience the highlights of the Camino de Santiago on this immersive, highly rated guided walk. Over 13 days, your group will enjoy an unforgettable time exploring the iconic Camino trail.
Best of Camino exceeded my expectations! Very well organized, flexible, super guide, great food and wine (included if you can believe it!) and great company. The description was exactly what it said it was, a moderate physical activity challenge. I felt well prepared physically because I followed the advice from the advisors and the type of activities that it described (we would be doing). Unfortunately others in the group were less prepared for the moderate walking required and they struggled a bit. All in all it was everything it promised. Fantastic memories and new friendships!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ H. Ebeling; Calgary, Canada.
9. Wicklow Way | Ireland
The Wicklow Way is Ireland's oldest waymarked trail and it explores unspoilt trails, remote scenery, lakes, glacial valleys, forests and gentle farmland.
The pictures we took during our trip does not do the landscapes of Ireland any justice! The rolling hills and the lush greenery are a sight to behold that soothes the soul. 10/10 would recommend this trip to all my friends and family who are looking to experience some of the best that Ireland has to offer! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ H. Kweon; Ottawa, Canada.
8. The Cumbria Way | UK
The walk is a complete south to north crossing of the Lake District National Park and much of the county of Cumbria. English Lakeland is England’s most mountainous area and walking is unquestionably the best way to see this celebrated landscape, hailed over the years by the likes of poets, authors and painters.
We loved our Cumbria Way walk! We have been UTracks' customers for a number of these walks over the past 20 years and have come to rely on their professionalism in arranging them. Specifically, we rate the following highly: choice of walks offered; responses to our queries as arrangements are being made; choice of B&Bs; trip notes and maps; availability to respond to queries after the trip has been arranged; reliability of baggage transfer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ R. Boyd; British Colombia, Canada.
7. Austrian Lakes Walk
The UNESCO World Heritage listed Salzkammergut alpine region of Austria encompasses 76 crystal clear lakes, the Dachstein Glacier, lush summer meadows and impressive rock faces up to 3000 vertical metres high. During this inspiring walk around the lakes, there is ample time to appreciate the natural beauty of the region and the alpine villages of wooden chalets decorated with colourful window boxes while at night you will enjoy the warm hospitality of your hosts.
In general: a wonderful experience, in a very beautiful part of the world. The routes, overnight stays, baggage transfer, and trip notes/directions were excellent. We loved the trip and would recommend it to others. High marks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ R. Boyd; Canada.
6. Amalfi Coast Explorer | Italy
From the spectacular Amalfi coast to the fascinating ruins of Pompeii, to the historic centre of Naples and the beautiful island of Capri, this walking trip offers the very best of this captivating region.
A wonderful experience - walking mostly on country roads with wonderful scenery and little traffic, great accommodations and of course, delicious food.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A. Grummit; Scarborough, Canada.
5. Walking in the Dordogne | France
A region full of elegant stone houses and medieval castles, the Dordogne boasts stunning scenery with a combination of villages, forests and farmland. Focused around the Dordogne River Valley, this itinerary has plenty of scope to absorb the history and culture of the Perigord.
First time doing a self guided holiday, we are 2 ladies in our early 70s, enjoyed the route! Accommodation and meals good - very good. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A. Beniusis; Stoney Creek, Canada.
4. Transylvania's Castles & Mountains | Romania
Explore some of Romania's most stunning mountain landscapes and soak up the unique culture of Transylvania on this inspiring walk, plus visit Bran Castle, home to the legendary Count Dracula.
The trip was great. Romania is a beautiful country. The guesthouses were comfortable and very welcoming! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ L. Brescacin; Chilliwack, Canada.
3. Walking in Puglia | Italy
This enriching walking trip combines archaeological and architectural treasures, with hiking through valleys and along coastal paths surrounded by landscapes of red earth, olive groves and vineyards.
This was an amazing trip. The walks were beautiful with incredible views and lovely places to stop. A real adventure! The gps maps and written directions were important to have. Each of the hotels were unique and interesting. The food in the area was absolutely delicious. The walking was overall not hard, although part of the first day was quite scary for some of our group, since for about 2 hours, we seemed to be on a cliff. It was the perfect amount of walking since it gave time to take stops whenever we wanted without feeling rushed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ M. Heyman; Montreal, Canada.
2. Portuguese Camino: Coastal Way | Portugal
The Portuguese Coastal Route is one of the quieter Camino paths and it offers a wealth of history. From the town of Viana do Castelo, not far from the city of Porto, the journey travels north through small hamlets, past eucalyptus and pine woods, over ancient bridges and along stunning coastal scenery.
The hotels that were provided were excellent. Whether 4 star or 1 star, the rooms were clean and well stocked. The greatest asset your organization has is the people of establishments you have chosen to be associated with. Cheerful, very willing to help in what ever way they could, easy to talk with even with a language barrier on my part, very accommodating.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ L. Hunter; Canada.
1. Camino de Santiago: Sarria to Santiago | Spain
This final stage of the famous Camino pilgrimage route offers the chance for time-starved travellers to walk the final 72 miles (115kms) into Santiago and gain a wonderful appreciation of the historic significance of the route. The gates of Galicia lead on to the fabled Santiago de Compostela with its famous cathedral, the site of the tomb of St James.
What an amazing experience! The choice of private lodgings in the quaint hamlets was very good overall; breakfast and dinners included were excellent and the luggage transfer service was prompt and efficient. The tour to Finisterre esp. to Muxia is not to be missed. I would not hesitate going with UTracks again for my next adventure.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ T. Wong; Calgary, Canada.
