    The Mont Blanc Classic walking tour is an 8 day self guided journey from the village of Le Tour around Mont Blanc to the bigger town of Chamonix in France (note you can also walk the reverse itinerary). You'll cross the borders of France, Italy and Switzerland during this trek.

    Highlights include walking around enormous glaciers and stunning lakes; being mesmerised by breathtaking alpine views; and the opportunity to purchase fresh Beaufort cheese straight from the shepherds themselves. Sleeping arrangements are made in cosy mountain refuges and hotels where you'll be warmly welcomed by the local people.

    This Rambler walking tour of the Tour du Mont Blanc has been specially devised for those walkers who like to 'smell the roses' en route to the next comfortable mountain refuge. The distances covered are generally gentler than others however walkers are still rewarded with incredible alpine views and the flower-filled meadows that the Alps are famous for.

    The Mont Blanc Rambler Self Guided walking tour is a 7 day trip with a moderate grading. Walkers begin in Chamonix, France, and continue through Switzerland and Italy before finishing your walking in Courmayeur, and a bus will transfer you back to Chamonix.
