As UTracks is all about active travel in Europe, having a comprehensive range of Mont Blanc tours is a natural fit. We offer hiking holidays so you can explore the Tour du Mont Blanc your way; whether self guided, in a small group guided tour, joining a family friendly tour, or choosing a rambler option so you have more days to enjoy the scenery at a more relaxed pace. And once you've completed Mont Blanc, we have plenty of other alpine hiking trips for you to experience.

Mont Blanc Guided Walk
"The Mont Blanc Guided Walk was an incredible adventure from start to finish. Doing a guided trip took away all of the tedious tasks of carrying a heavy backpack, organising accommodation, transport and meals, checking into refuges etc and simply allowed me to enjoy the trek."

"The trip, Tour du Mount Blanc was great! We had a great leader, who provided delicious lunches and was very friendly and professional. Our group got along well and had a lot of fun together. The scenery was spectacular! I really loved the trip and hope to do another next year."

Tour du Mont Blanc
"We have wanted to hike the Tour du Mont Blanc for some years and finally did it, booking through Sherpa Expeditions, starting at the end of August 2019. We were extremely fortunate with the weather, beautiful blue skies for most of the walk and stunning scenery and views of the mountains. We would highly recommend this to anyone who loves to hike and be sure to be in shape before you start out!!"

"Katia was great to send material out early to me, the route notes and maps were excellent though be good to have the GPX tracks as well. The ground support people, Bob and Sian, were so helpful. They were always available to answer questions and handle anything that came up on the trip. We felt very safe and supported knowing that they were available."

Mont Blanc Encompassed
"The lunches were exceptional and far beyond what I was expecting."

"The UTracks 10 day TMB tour was fantastic. We had the mule transport (7 kg pp), an experienced bilingual (French/English) guide Julien. All meals were provided via breakfast and dinner at the refuges, and picnic lunches organized by the guide. He was an excellent guide and really watched out for his people and for the mule. After dinner he would preview the route for the next day with the map.
We had opted for the "comfort" upgrade to double and quad rooms for most of the 9 nights and were very glad to have that privacy and the semi-private bathrooms. The dorms are mixed gender and on the two nights that we spent in the dorms the ear plugs were essential. The refuges tend to serve their regional specialties for dinner and there are usually 3-4 courses. You will not be hungry. There is a lot of cheese. Julien provided great lunches with regional cheeses, veggie dishes, breads, and salamis.
I was super glad that we did the guided walk since there were two times that Julien chose alternate routes due to rock slides or work being done on the trail. Also, it was great fun to meet other like-minded people, hear about their other adventures, laugh together, and share prosecco and beers. We spend some time in Chamonix at the end with the tour members that we had bonded with."

Mont Blanc Classic
"Great accommodations. Very good food at every over night Refuge."

"I wanted to complete the Tour de Mt Blanc while I still had the fitness level having recently celebrated my 70th birthday. My husband and I found it challenging at times, particularly up and down some of the long cols (passes) - Grand Col Ferret from Switzerland into Italy and Col du Bonhomme. Both had heaps of snow in mid June - eminently manageable with hiking poles.
We’re new converts. The vistas throughout were glorious, the wildflowers beautiful, emanating a scent of honey, the pine forests refreshing and the sense of accomplishment not to be discounted. The camaraderie of fellow UTracks self guided hikers was the icing on the cake."

Mont Blanc Rambler
"I booked this trip with my son to celebrate my 70th birthday and what a fantastic trip it was. The scenery and alpine meadows were stunning. Some of the ascents were fairly steep, but the paths clear. Our guide made sure that we were walking at a comfortable pace with a good break for lunch. We walked for around 6 hours with breaks most days and it is readily managed provided you have a reasonable level of fitness.
Our guide was excellent, explaining the scenery and the flowers to us, making sure that he explained the route to us from his maps and so on. Above all he was very friendly. The accommodation, although basic as expected, was above expectation and we were well looked after everywhere we stayed. For me this was a totally unforgettable experience and I thoroughly recommend UTracks and the Mont Blanc Rambler trek."

Mont Blanc Family Adventure
"Our trip was fabulous the leader was super great English and interacted to keep the 6 children on the trip focused and happy. He showed them how to look after the donkeys and lead them, he was very conscious of safety regarding the donkeys. He was equally good with the adults and the whole group jelled very well. He dealt with 2 problems of illness within the group arranging day transport for them to have days off and rejoining group. Not an easy task with three countries involved."
P. Mcconnell | UK
"The trip was excellent. The walking was challenging but really enjoyable. Our kids aged 10 and 12 loved the donkeys and learned a lot about getting them ready in mornings, helping to load the gear onto them. Our guide Yoan was superb. He had boundless patience and energy. Encouraging younger children on tougher ascents and generally creating a great atmosphere for the whole group."
