"The Laugavegur Trail with guide Emma and 15 European hikers was amazing...in late July ...and suitable for a variety of age groups with reasonable fitness levels and agility... there is a requirement for solo travellers occasionally, and travellers together usually, to sleep in shared small double mattresses in sometimes crowded huts (though no one had to sleep on the floor)! The unique and awe inspiring scenery, extraordinary weather, immediate camraderie, brought together by the incredible skills of our guide, more than compensated for the crowds that time of year."
