The best way to reach Golfo Aranci is to fly into Olbia Airport. From here you can make your way to the charming seaside town of Golfo Aranci, just 20 minutes by vehicle - we can arrange a transfer on request. Check into your hotel, then meet your guide at 6pm for a welcome aperitif of local wines and snacks. An arrival briefing will be conducted at this time. Dinner and your first night in Sardinia follow.

Meals:  D

Today's hike takes you through some of the wildest coastal scenery on the island. The trail winds through ancient juniper forest to the summit of Monte Ruju — once used as a lookout against seaborne raiders — with views north to Corsica on a clear day. Keep an eye out for mouflon (wild mountain sheep) and peregrine falcons along the way. After the hike, there's time to relax on a beautiful beach before returning to Golfo Aranci. Tonight, dinner is on your own — your guide will point you toward the best local options. Optional: Depending on sea conditions, an afternoon kayak tour along the coast of Capo Figari may be available at additional cost. A local expert guides you through sea caves, hidden coves and cliff faces, with the chance of spotting dolphins. All equipment provided; no prior experience required. 12.5km / 7.8mi • Ascent 515m / 1,690ft • Descent 515m / 1,690ft

Meals:  B,L

A short transfer takes you to the start of today's walk near the granite village of San Pantaleo, tucked into the hills of the Gallura region. After the hike, browse the village's artisan shops and pick up some local produce before the drive south to Dorgali — a mountain town that will be your base for the next three nights. Arrive in the late afternoon with time to explore the town centre and visit the small local museum before dinner. 9.5km / 5.9mi • Ascent 325m / 1,066ft • Descent 125m / 410ft

Meals:  B,L,D

Today is one of the most spectacular days of the trip. A private transfer takes you to the trailhead, where you descend into the Gorroppu Gorges — one of the deepest and narrowest canyons in Europe, dropping 1,475 ft (450 m) with walls just 16 ft (5 m) apart at their narrowest. The walk descends through the Flumineddu Valley into the heart of the Supramonte di Oliena, inside the Gennargentu National Park, where the plants and animals are found nowhere else on earth. If the timing is right, you may be able to cool off in the clear river at the canyon floor. Transfer back to Dorgali in the late afternoon. Tonight's dinner is on your own. 13.5km / 8.4mi • Ascent 370m / 1,214ft • Descent 370m / 1,214ft

Meals:  B,L

A morning transfer takes you to the base of Mount Corrasi, the highest peak in the Supramonte di Oliena, and the ascent begins. As you climb, the landscape shifts to a striking lunar plateau of silver-white limestone — one of the most otherworldly walking environments in the Mediterranean. From the summit, the views extend across the entire Supramonte to the Gennargentu Mountains. Descend and transfer back to Dorgali for a well-earned dinner. 14km / 8.7mi • Ascent 800m / 2,625ft • Descent 800m / 2,625ft

Meals:  B,L,D

Today's walk follows a historic trail toward the coast, passing through a remarkable mountain tunnel — the original road through the cliffs, now used only by shepherds and their mules. On the far side, a gravel path climbs to a stunning viewpoint surrounded by limestone peaks before descending toward the sea. After lunch, visit the S'Abba Frisca Museum, the island's most comprehensive collection of rural and artisan life, then check into your hotel in Cala Gonone — a relaxed former fishing village backed by pine trees and facing the sparkling Gulf of Orosei. Tonight is on your own, with plenty of good local restaurants to choose from. 10km / 6.2mi • Ascent 300m / 984ft • Descent 400m / 1,312ft

Meals:  B,L

The final hiking day begins with a boat transfer to Cala Luna — one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Mediterranean, reachable only by sea or on foot, tucked beneath towering limestone cliffs. Before reaching the beach, the boat stops at the Bue Marino sea cave, a natural wonder carved into the cliff face. From Cala Luna, a coastal trail leads back to Cala Fuili, where lunch is served and there's time for a swim in crystal-clear water before transferring back to Cala Gonone. Tonight, the group gathers for a farewell dinner to celebrate the week. Note: The boat excursion is subject to weather conditions. 5.5km / 3.4mi • Ascent 250m / 820ft • Descent 250m / 820ft

Meals:  B,L,D

After breakfast, a private transfer (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes) takes you to Olbia Airport for your onward journey.
