10/10. Wonderful journey. The days have been full and allowed enough time to reflect and restore bodies and minds for the following day. Loved the quality, intimacy, history and comfort of the accommodations. Fabulous journey thanks to Steph and the team. Loved it all really. The writing component was integral to the transformation that occurred along the way. Stephanie’s beautiful way of facilitating these conversations is special. Thanks Steph for your wonderful way of being and inspiring us on our paths whatever they may be. Lea Trafford, Connecting Conversations
I found the journey enriching and stimulating. Loved traveling the route of the ancients. Coped with the walking well. Valued the opportunity to explore writing and found the writing workshops an excellent way to start the day in a reflective mode, as I am lazy unless prompted. Loved the atmosphere and character of all the accommodations. The writing component of the journey enabled me to consider possibilities which I had not considered previously. I have found the workshops to be very thought provoking and helping me to embark on a new journey. The writing component has been entirely congruent with the Camino and the notion of a spiritual journey. I have valued being urged to look into our hearts and to write from there. I can now consider the possibility of writing!

The walking combined with writing was a great mix, because it gave time for thinking my writing through. Loved all the accommodations – stone houses, castles, stone hospitals. Fabulous! The writing sessions did manage to tap me into deeper thinking and freed me up to write. Fabulous! The writing sessions did manage to tap me into deeper thinking and freed me up to write. I had a most wonderful time and with your help, managed to climb the wall of my writer’s block. Thanks so much. Great workshops, thanks Steph! Sue Gunningham, author
Loved it. The walking was wonderful, tramping through forests, muddy lanes, greeting others, pilgrims stopping for coffee and stamp, just walking through pain…how special is that. The writing component was invaluable. It was given out at measured intervals, which challenged and excited me. The chunks were there to tease out your thoughts and challenge, yet they also built upon the previous foundations and ultimately it felt like you had come full circle which was exactly how I felt about the physical walk. Steph’s kind and empathetic way with each individual as they journeyed was also such a joy. Writing is the tool that helps, guides and brings to fulfilment what is inside each of us. Steph teased it out beautifully.

Loved the walking, discovering, learning, sharing time with others, being in the laneways, pathways; being resilient, then relaxing, feeling relief. The sensual delights – the bracing air, smells, little birds, hot chocolates, beers, delicious food, the writing – really enjoyed it! I was a bit nervous, but fears allayed and I created! Excellent cultural experience of food and wine. One tangential result was the memory of the little café – where we picked objects to write about – I will always remember it because we were there writing about it. Thank you very much Steph!! Enjoyed the walk in a new country, the beautiful countryside, the gracious people, the new sights and experiences. Enjoyed meeting our group members. I learnt a lot about myself and the journey of others. Superb accommodations – clean and beautiful and wonderful! I enjoyed the whole experience and writing really enhanced the overall journey. The writing component fitted seamlessly in with our day. It was something I looked forward to each day and it provided direction for new thoughts and writing in my journal. The way the workshops were conducted in a circle with lots of sharing but no pressure built trust between us and encouraged us to open up and share our writing journeys and our lives. The open discussions also helped to clarify my own writing and the specific writing techniques proved useful in improving my big writing project. Your manner Stephanie, in your delivery and in respecting the feelings and privacy of all, was appreciated and resulted in deeper understanding of the writing process and each one’s individual journey. Fabulous effort. So pleased to be a part of this write and walk Camino. Kerry Lollback
