Also known as Cave of Nymphs, it is here that you can float in rowboats on strikingly blue waters while the sunlight intersects through a hole in the roof. Over 3km long and located near Sami and Agia Efimia, the cave was formed through a natural chemical process involving dissolution of the rocks. The results have to be seen to be believed.
An untamed collision of green landscape and azure water; Antisamos is as beautiful as it gets. Situated a few kilometres from the port of Sami on the east coast of this Greek island, we recommend you grab yourself a patch of sandy real estate on this Cephalonian treasure pronto.
After the earthquakes of 1953, Vathi was rebuilt by its resilient residents. Today, it’s considered a preserved settlement with laws against buildings that do not fit the mould. Porto Katsiki, Lefkas
The beach of Porto Katsiki is said to have only been accessible to goats in times gone by; its name translates to the less exotic-sounding Goat Port.
