Acts of resilience by the people of Europe in these unprecedented times

In these unprecedented times, we take solace in the signs of resilience shown by the people of Europe to the Coronavirus. Watch these heartwarming videos below, as shared on our Facebook page. We can't wait to return to Europe.

From Spain:

"People living in Madrid stood on balconies and leaned out of windows at 10pm to clap and cheer doctors and healthcare workers on Saturday evening following a campaign launched on social media to show appreciation after the Spanish government declared a state of emergency over the coronavirus."

From Italy:

"A big emotional lift to their nation with Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma (let no one sleep) and where lyrics say venceremos (we will overcome) they have their planes dramatically facing and overpowering the single plane (virus) with their National Flag!"

"People across Italy have been singing from their balconies in an effort to keep up morale."

From the UK:

Staff at the NHS (the UK's National Health Services) have been treating thousands of people affected by the COVID-19 virus. Here's a video of theatre staff at the Basildon Hospital boogying to Dance With Me Tonight, shared by Sandra Roberts and her colleague Lyn Roberts.

From Portugal:

"It's time to stop. Time to reset, time to recenter, time to switch off so we can move on. The best part of it all? We are in this together" #CantSkipHope is a campaign launched by Visit Portugal sharing a message of hope to that soon everything will go back to normal.
