We've got a hot tip for an inspiring culinary travel TV show - Field Trip with Curtis Stone. Curtis is on a mission to recreate some of the world's most iconic food destinations for his restaurant. While you don't get to taste the food yourself, it is a smorgasbord for your eyes as he becomes immersed in various foodie paradises.
 
It's available to watch for free on SBS and Binge. As well as Italy, Curtis also explores Rioja in Spain, Hawaii, and Australian destinations including Western Australia, the Kimberley, and NSW. Watch a couple of the show's highlights below.
 
 
This is the synopsis of Field Trip with Curtis Stone:
 
Shot by Curtis's friend and cinematographer Dave Gorn, Curtis and his team travel to his native Australia, as well as Italy, Spain and California. Showcasing the journey to one specific region, Curtis highlights the artisans, farmers, wine producers and topography of the area, while offering viewers a unique insight into how the acclaimed chef conducts research for Maude's menu and award-winning wine program.

About the episode

Curtis travels to the Lombardy region at the base of the Italian Alps to discover a local cheese and peasant dish. He subsequently embarks on a helicopter tour of a prestigious Franciacorta vineyard.

About the episode

When in Rome, Curtis visits a butcher specializing in organ meats, tastes pastries in the Jewish Quarter, and works alongside a chef to make the traditional offal dish, cortatella. Wait for season 2 to come out to see the full episode.
