A stunning cycle journey to experience all of the delights Burgundy has to offer, from its famous red wines to the cheeses of Epoisses. Architectural wonders thrive in this region, including the preserved Roman vestiges and ramparts of Autun, Beaune's infamous 15th century Hospital, Châteauneuf en Auxois' and the UNESCO World Heritage listed village of Vézelay. You follow canals and rivers through the limestone valleys of the 137,000-hectare granite massif of Parc Regional du Morvan. Its network of rivers, hamlets and limestone escarpments are nestled in thick forests of beech, oak and birch. Elegant medieval villages, half timbered houses and impressive chateaux are highlights of your journey - not to mention the pretty vineyards that conveniently line the route.
