One of the joys of our boat based itineraries is that you only have to unpack once. This little luxury is not just limited to our bike and barge or cycle and sail tours, we also have a selection of active land based trips that also pass on this privilege – we call these Centre Based trips.

All our centre based trips utilise the same accommodation throughout the trip, providing an even more comfortable way to enjoy day walks and cycle outings to some of Europe’s classic landscapes. With the majority of trips being self guided, you are totally free to set your own pace and itinerary each day. Returning to your base, you’ll be treated like family by your hosts who will reward your efforts each evening with succulent local dishes.
