  • I can't say enough about how wonderful is the Cinque Terre Trekking Holiday. The accommodations were perfect, allowing us to live like a local for the week! The village of Corniglia is the perfect place to stay. The residents lovely and accommodating, superb restaurant choices, and lovely cafes and markets. The trekking route maps provided by UTRACKS gave many hiking options for us. The length of time was just perfect, allowing us to explore all of the villages. J. Slingerland. Lander, USA
  • Had the most fantastic 7 days. On arrival we were advised change accommodation, but it probably was better than where we would have ended up. Water views - and the most fantastic place to stay. Just magic. A wonderful start to our holiday. N and R Gallagher Griffith, ACT
  • Taking a GPS would be a good idea. Cinque Terre is a good place for people who like walking and swimming, the locals are friendly, the sea there is warm and there is plenty to do. R. Watson Vic. Australia
  • Just wanted to thank you for all your efforts in getting our Cinque Terre trip organised. Stephania Basso is a very fine lady and a proud long term resident of Cornelia - she looked after us well. The location was beautiful - we got all the walks done and loved the variety they included - coastal, hinterland, forest, terraces, villages, everything we hoped that we'd see - the maps and walk notes were spot on. Very different from bushwalking in northern NSW!! Looking forward to our next trip with UTracks T. Carter NSW. Australia
The Cinque Terre in northern Italy are a series of five small fishing villages dug into the cliffs where the Apennine mountains meet the Mediterranean coast line. Each village has retained its character and traditions from earlier times, impressively perched between the rocky shoreline and the steep terraced hills. The extensive network of trails connecting the villages pass through olive groves and terraced vineyards, with sweeping views of the vast expanse of the Mediterranean below. Beyond the five villages of Cinque Terre the walks take in some of the lesser known villages, towns and stretches of the Ligurian coastline. This centre based walk will see you living like a local, based in an apartment in the charming middle town of Corniglia and sourcing your wine, bread and antipasto from the local providers.
