This itinerary is perfect for those who want to explore the beautiful island of Cyprus during the winter months. This program concentrates on the western part of the island, specifically the Akamas Peninsula, where the weather will remain warmer than in the mountains. The tour starts at Drouseia where you stay two nights. You then walk to Chrysochou Bay and the Akamas which affords a variety of scenery and breathtaking views. You can visit the well known beauty spot the ‘Baths of Aphrodite’. Another walk takes you via the wooded Smiyies area and the peak of Mouti tis Sotiras for spectacular views of the Akamas Peninsula. From here you head back inland to Kato Akourdaleia before walking down to Agios Georgios tis Pegeias via the Avagas Gorge on the west coast where you spend your last night.
