• We highly recommend this tour - it's well organised and a fantastic way to explore some of northern Italy's cities, countryside and Lake Garda. The hotels were all excellent and included good-sized breakfasts. The maps/information provided meant we could comfortably do this trip with the self-guided option. The actual cycling required a moderate level of fitness-there was one day with a hill climb but otherwise the riding was relatively flat. The cycle was mainly on the road but we felt very safe, even coming into busier cities, as the motorists were very respectful to cyclists. A unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience.
