You will travel from Germany through Austria to Slovakia and conclude your journey in Hungary. Our route visits the great cities of Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest and takes you past charming villages and vineyards. The compelling history of the Danube itself and the nations it links will capture your imagination as you pass by sites of historic interest and significance. DAY 1 Join Passau DAY 2 Cycle to Engelhartszell and Schlögen (44km) DAY 3 Cycle to Linz (53km) DAY 4 Cycle to Grein via Burg Clam Castle (60km) DAY 5 To Melk (51km) DAY 6 Cycle through Wachau and on to Krems (40/55km) DAY 7 To Vienna (39km) DAY 8 Explore the untouched landscape of a nearby nature reserve and the archaeological park of Carnuntum (45km) DAY 9 Follow the Danube to Bratislava (32km) DAY 10 Cycle to Györ (45km) DAY 11 Visit the Stud of Babolna and cycle to Komarom (35-45km) DAY 12 To Esztergom (58km) DAY 13 Ferry round trip to Szentendre Island and cycle to Budapest (58km) DAY 14 Bus return to Vienna, trip concludes
