traveller reviews

  • We were impressed with everything – charming hotels, delicious meals, great bikes, route maps and bike paths, seamless luggage transfer and gorgeous scenery. Everything ran so smoothly. All we had to do was get ourselves from one location to another – and enjoy our holiday. Barbara S. Canada
  • The cycle trip was a very enjoyable experience - the bikes were provided in excellent condition and very fit for purpose. The hotels were excellent and very comfortable, and the cycle route was very interesting in beautiful countryside and apart from one day fitted the low to moderate rating. One suggestion if people plan to arrive one day early in Konstanz: Get your bikes early and take a ride along the lake front to Mainau Island and beyond past orchards and farms with views of the lake. A very nice, scenic ride (about 35 km return) and a good way to get familiar with your bike. R Smith Karrinyup, WA
  • The scenery was magnificent and I really enjoyed the cycling, townships, the accommodation and the hospitality. I would like to thank you for organising the photo competition and all your assistance for making my trip such a memorable experience that I will always treasure. G. Tellam. 2011 Photo Comp winner, Australia
The Grisons, or Graubünden as it is referred to by the Swiss, is considered by many to be Switzerland's most beautiful region with its multitude of lakes, valleys and snow capped mountain peaks. The Rhine river has its source in the Grisons, connecting the mountains to Lake Constance over 100km away. Travelling alongside the Rhine and Lake Constance, this diverse cycle adventure from Switzerland, passes through Liechtenstein and Austria before returning to Constance in Germany. The relaxed itinerary offers the flexibility to explore the gorges of the Grissons on foot, cycle to winegrowers villages to sample the local specialties, visit the Museum of Art in Liechtenstein, and climb up to a castle for a picture postcard view.
